Frequently Asked Questions

Product Care

Stained glass does need some occasional care and cleaning. All of my creations come with care instructions, but here are some more reminders when it comes to caring for your new glass decor:

Cleaning
  • Stained glass can be cleaned with a damp soapy cloth when needed.

  • Pledge furniture polish or carnauba car wax can be used to polish up your piece if it starts to look dirty or dull.

  • Fingerprints and smudges can be easily removed with a microfiber cloth.

Care
  • Stained glass is stronger than it may look, but it's still made out of glass, so it can break when not handled carefully.

  • Keep stained glass away from children and pets.

  • Solder lines (except for on jewelry pieces) contain lead. This will not harm you if it is used as a decoration as intended, but it is best practice to wash your hands after handling a panel of stained glass, and definitely don't lick it!

  • Make sure you are hanging your piece from something sturdy. Suction cups may seem like a great idea for windows, but they often fail! A hook screwed directly into the window frame with a fishing line string is a great alternative when hanging small sun catchers in windows. Larger pieces should be well fastened or hung with a stronger chain.

Shipping & Returns

I do my best to ship out orders as fast as possible, within 3 business days. I try to use recycled or reused items to package orders as often as possible.

Shipping
  • I use USPS First Class Mail to ship orders.

  • You will get a tracking number when your order is shipped and may track your package through the USPS website.

  • Stickers are currently shipped in a stamped envelope, so tracking is unavailable. You will still get a notification as soon as your stickers ship.

  • Please allow for shipping delays during peak seasons. Unfortunately I do not have control over your package once it arrives at the post office and delays can happen. 

  • If your package is missing after being marked as delivered by USPS, we can contact USPS to file a report. USPS takes missing or stolen mail very seriously as it can be a federal offense.​

Returns
  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact me and send a picture right away and I will make a plan for how to correct the damage.

  • It is my hope that you will love your order. If you are not satisfied, please contact me as soon as possible so I can assist you.

    • To request a cancellation, contact me before item has shipped.

    • To request a return or exchange:
      Contact me within 7 days of delivery
      Ship your items back within 14 days of delivery

    • If I do not receive any communication within 7 days after delivery, the sale is considered final.
